What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the delicious food, particularly fresh fish tacos and mojitos, and the restaurant's enchanting atmosphere filled with plants and local art. The marine reserve itself is praised as a terrific snorkeling spot with a healthy coral reef, though parking can be a significant challenge, requiring early arrival. [^Review]
"We had such a fantastic time! The Mojitos, tostarone, and fresh caught fish (pescado) tacos 🐟 were delicious! The juice was also freshly made by the friendly staff, and the fresh herbs used in the drinks and food were so refreshing.
But what drew us to the restaurant was the lovely atmosphere created by the staff and live plants within and surrounding the bar. Parcha vines near the coastal view, succulents in their garden at the entrance, and a variety of native plants in a small greenhouse-like section at the back for propagating and caring for more babies, fresh herbs, and other ingredients used by the bar and kitchen. This PLANT LOVER was in Heaven!
AND to to make it even better, the bar was decorated with LOCAL ART ONLY and decor made from repurpsed materials, upcycled by the owners and local artisans. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, it was a LOCAL BUSINESS giving you a true AUTHENTIC Puerto Rican experience. Not an American-owned, franchise-like restaurant you could find in Florida.
I cannot recommend it enough. It wa exactly what we were looking for after exploring Steps Beach and the local marine reserve, Tres Palmas Marina Reserva."
