"Brilliant museum of the sugar industry in Reunion in an old sugar factory. Engaging, informative exhibits, friendly staff, impressive original machinery inside, and a small cafe with stunning views of the ocean. Highly recommended."

"An interesting history of how sugarcane was introduced and grown to production in reunion island. Located in an old and real sugarcane factory. Lots of explanation and steps of production for sugar, rhum, and history of the people who helped produce them. A recommendation to the museum is to label the description panels numerically to help visitors follow the intended chronological narrative. There’s also a shop at the exit where various souvenirs, sweets, rhum and sugar are sold."

"Very nice exposition and cinéma 4D is a great finish. Each steps of the process are explained in detailed with English translation only for the permanent exposition. Temporary expo is only in french. Only 1 toilet on site, difficult to access during the visit. Visit is also quite long (2h +) without AC and there is no water fountain available so bring your own bottle. The boutique at the end has a nice selection."
