"Don’t even bother coming here to visit with your car. Stayed one night at a hotel and in the morning my car was gone. Apparently you have to pay a parking tax which is stated at the entrance of Craiova. Which entrance? The country side one? There was nothing. You have to put this information visible near every parking space because people who aren’t from Craiova have no idea. Not only did I have to find out where they took my car, pay 300 lei to get it back, but months later get a 500 lei fine sent to my house. People from there find it something normal for their cars to be gone in the morning but for international travellers not so normal. Anywhere else in Romania there is a sign to pay your parking through SMS. In Craiova they haven’t heard of putting up these signs."
