"In the middle of a very nice park, tall trees and shade. Kind custodian inside. Tower with a tight staircase and nice view. Perfect for a break from the city."

"Nice mosque, you can climb the tower, although the view is not anything close to stunning. Women have to wear robes which the mosque supplies. Nice souvenirs are available"
Eugen Nedelcu
"Beautiful mosque in such a peaceful setting. The mosque is about 500 years old. One side has a cemetery and the other a small forest or orchid. The local Imam, or Hojja, stays on the end of the property and is quite friendly. He is Turkish by birth but has been in Mangalia for many years. Fluent in Arabic and Turkish, and a little English, he assisted me with Halaal meat, which he slaughters himself."
