"The bell tower was built on the foundation of an older one in 1869-1870 in the neo-Gothic style. It has been completely preserved to this day. You need to overcome 280 steps. The climb is not difficult, the stairs are comfortable and wide, which is unusual for such structures. From the platform there is a sad view of the reconstruction, rather, of the preservation of the supporting structures of the Kremlin. But the view towards St. Sophia Cathedral is very beautiful. Be sure to visit, especially since almost all the Kremlin museums are now closed."
