Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Winter Garden Theatre for its historic grandeur and the unforgettable Broadway experiences it hosts. The Grace Museum-Theater in Kislovodsk is lauded for its unique blend of history, art, and performance, offering a deeply immersive cultural evening. While tickets for popular shows can be hard to come by, the overall experience is consistently described as magical and highly recommended.
"..During the “Silver Age” of Kislovodsk, the guest estate of the honorary teacher Agafonov enjoyed amazing popularity. The home theater was especially attractive, in which writers, poets, and artists who were vacationing in the resort city participated. There was an atmosphere of warmth and comfort here.
In October 1991, the Grace Theater Museum opened in the city of Kislovodsk.
The creator of this cultural and historical place is Valentina Ivanovna Imtosimi. Valentina Ivanovna set herself a difficult task - to return to our time an entire cultural layer that disappeared after the revolution in 1917 - a Russian estate, with its obligatory relics, with the preservation of the interior premises and theatrical evenings. Thus, the “Museum and Theater” format, unique for our country, was born, in which guests get acquainted with exhibitions dedicated to remarkable people, and then come to performances, the content of which is inextricably linked with what is told in the museum halls. The activity of the theater - the Grace Museum seems to have been returned to the past, but it immediately became relevant, modern, remaining so to this day.
In the cozy old estate there are exhibitions dedicated to Russian America, aircraft manufacturer Igor Sikorsky, singer Anna Marly, heroine of the French Resistance nun Maria, ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya, the greatest poet of the 20th century Vladimir Mayakovsky and many other people who lived in different countries but increased the glory of Russia.
I would like to express special gratitude and appreciation for the unhindered visit to the sidelines, the most interesting and atmospheric halls, museum rooms and premises - to the actress of the Theater - Museum ""GRACE" --- ELENA PLIEVA!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
Thanks to Elena, my friends and I were able to visit this location, get acquainted with numerous unique exhibitions, and look at historical and archival photographs of famous people: writers, poets, musicians.
Also, special thanks to ELENA for giving me the book from "Kislovodsk to Paris. Russian women - heroines of France."
Since tickets for the performances were sold out until the end of November, and our vacation in Kislovodsk was in October/November, it was not possible to buy tickets.
For all lovers of theatrical productions, I RECOMMEND this location as a must visit!🙌🏛️🎭👇

"I really enjoyed the evening at the theatre. 4 hours flew by. A funny, light and cheerful performance, then dinner with live music. I definitely recommend visiting this place. The mood is great after such an evening"

"A wonderful place! I recommend it to everyone! The talented director of the theater-museum Valentina Petrovna Imtosimi has created unique exhibitions about famous people with difficult fates, and has assembled a chic creative group of artists and musicians. First, the viewer gets acquainted with the most interesting exhibitions, accompanied by piano, then watches the production of the play and the evening ends with a festive buffet, where songs and cheerful music are performed by artists. An unforgettable impression!"
