Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Samara Railway Museum for its excellent collection of well-maintained railway exhibits, particularly the interactive locomotive cabins. It's considered a great educational and fun outing for families. However, some note the inconvenient weekend hours, lack of weekend excursions, and the poor condition of the parking lot.

"Excellent rating for the excellent composition of the railway transport collection. Excellent condition of the exhibits, informative signs. A great place for educational recreation with children. Inexpensive tickets (90₽ adult, 30₽ concession). It is a pity that the parking lot is in a depressing condition. Inconvenient working hours (Sunday is a day off). The museum is not promoted. There are no excursions on weekends. I recommend visiting in any group."

Сергей Сидоров

"My husband and I were there a long time ago, and now we took our children there (5 years old and 2.4 years old) we really liked the museum, besides, the youngest really likes to look at trains, trams and the metro) there are benches, a gazebo, urns on the territory. The territory is clean. Children under 5 are free, an adult ticket is 90 rubles, for pensioners 30 rubles"

Юлия Калмыкова

"Who didn't play with railroads as a child?
Here everyone can plunge into these memories and imagine themselves as the driver of a real steam locomotive (diesel locomotive, electric locomotive...), climbing into its cabin and feeling themselves in the place of the people who controlled these colossuses decades ago! Adults become children, and children are simply delighted that they can go inside and sit in the driver's cabin of the ER-200.
Guides will guide you throughout the museum and tell you about the history of the exhibits. Here you begin to understand how global and complex the railway is, and what a contribution it is to the development of humanity as a whole.
I recommend visiting"
