Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Hall on the Island for its picturesque setting and historical charm, often highlighting its beauty as a concert venue and its serene waterfront location. Some note that access can be seasonal and suggest checking event schedules for the best experience.

"A wonderful small pavilion in the center of a large pond. There is a path to the Chesme Column.

The pavilion was built in the late 1740s.
It was intended for concerts and recreation for boaters, and was occasionally used for court dinners. In the 19th century, the Hall on the island stored hot water bottles that were used to warm up those skating on the skating rink on the lake. In 1911, in connection with the organization of the anniversary Tsarskoye Selo exhibition, a restaurant was opened in the hall, for which the island was connected to the shore by a pontoon bridge."

Overall, it diversifies and beautifies the appearance of the park."
