"very good"
HASAN ALJABBAN
"Tatar settlements within the borders of modern-day Saratov emerged in the 17th and 18th centuries. The first stone mosque on this site was built in 1836; the building was later rebuilt and remained in use until the 1930s. Under Soviet rule, the cathedral mosque was half-destroyed and abandoned. By the time the mosque was returned to worshippers, it was beyond repair and was rebuilt between 1995 and 2005. Today, it is a striking structure with a 46-meter-tall minaret. It houses the residence of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Saratov Region, a library, and the Sheikh Said Madrasah."
