"Fascinating learning about the culture, the huts look like a scene from a movie. I loved my experience here! I travelled on a group tour with Exploring Kenya and this was part of the itinerary. I’m so glad we did it!!!"

"Very interesting tour:
We got a private tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly young guide. He took us around the site to the king's palace, the newly built palace and my favourite the Inyambo cows. They are so calm and sweet that you actually get to pet them and they seemed very content.
We learned a lot about Rwandan history and customs. Definitely recommend going there."

"We had a great time here to discover more on the life of the kings of Rwanda, the way of living back then and how colonisation impacted them. Nice to see the modern palace from where there's also an outlook on the later built Palace which looks impressive and also holds a museum now, the king built this one after visiting the Belgian king in Laken (3* in totaal) which gave him new ideas. Unfortunately the king never saW the end of it. I think our guide was called Alexis, great guide!! Fluent french and explained everything very well."
