"A very busy attraction. We were only able to get to about 1 kilometer from the car park as there were so many vehicles.
There were many tourists.
Be prepared for a tough long climb. Plenty of water and even a walking stick would be an advantage. It takes about 5 - 6 hours to complete the hike.
The signage on route is good.
The restaurant and toilets are totally unprepared for the volumes of tourists."

"Spectacular spectacular! Indescribably beautiful, and it feels as if I am walking on the moon. Quite steep stairs to go down and up but it was a pleasant walk. It was raining when we visited, so it wasn’t hot at all. I heard walking in the sun could be hot as there are no shadows. Once in a life time experience. I will remember this beautiful place for a very long time."

"It is lovely driving to Le Volcan. The landscape is very unique, it feels as if you are on the moon. JUST BE AWARE OF BEING ROBBED at the parking area! Our car remote was jammed and all our cash stolen from our wallets in our handbags. We parked next to a car with a couple searching for something inside 'their car'. We only realized afterwards that they were stealing from that car as well."
