"This was easy hike up starting at the rainbow colored stairs from street Rue Du La Republique. Thee is a path and stairs that go up to the top where it does get uneven and rocky. We saw once climbed halfway there was a parking lot not sure if it was for the fort but it seemed like it. The breeze and views were breathtaking from the top. If adventurous you can climb up the tower next to flagpole in the middle of the fort for some amazing. Views and photos. You can walk around and see the islands sides. The kids enjoyed clinging up on the rocks and tower area. The fort is not in complete form but you can get the feel for what it would’ve looked like."

Once at the top, you're treated to sweeping views of Marigot, Simpson Bay, and even Anguilla, making it a perfect photo op. The fort itself offers a quiet, scenic atmosphere with historical charm and a few roaming iguanas. Wear comfortable shows. The stop will take you less than 30 mins."

"Beautiful views over Marigot harbor from the 18th century fort ruin. Just couple cannons and plaques for detail but an interesting part of the islands history."
