Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Guaita Tower for its stunning panoramic views and historical significance. The 11th-century fortress offers a captivating glimpse into San Marino's past, with many highlighting the climb and the well-preserved architecture. While it can get crowded, the experience is generally described as peaceful and well-organized, making it a must-visit attraction.
"We had a really great experience visiting the Guaita Tower in San Marino. The views from the top are absolutely stunning — you can see the city, the rolling hills, and even all the way out to the sea on a clear day. Even though there were quite a lot of people when we visited, we didn’t have to wait in line at all, which was a really nice surprise. It felt calm and cozy the whole time, and the city itself has such a warm and welcoming vibe.
Tickets were around €11 per person (definitely check the exact price), and with that ticket you also get access to the other towers and museums. We only had time to visit the first tower, but even just that one made the trip worth it. The climb is exciting, and while the height might feel a little scary — my little sister definitely thought so — it’s totally safe, and the views are worth every step.
Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip to San Marino. It was peaceful, well-organized, and left us with such great memories. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting — don’t miss this tower!"

"Well worth a visit to see the old towers. Payment gets you into 2 of the 3 (the 3rd is closed), plus entry into museums, galleries in the town centre. All within walking distance. Park at the top, near the towers if you can. Only €8 for a whole day, but be early. Plenty of gift shops, restaurants, ice cream, clothing, shoes, watches. I bought Italian leather bags for my kids at a stall. Not cheap, but meh."

"If you’re in San Marino, you’d be a fool to miss this tower. Access is included with the San Marino Museum Pass, great value if you’re planning to explore the other tower and a few other attractions. Terrific view, and you can check out some 19th century “prison graffiti”"
