"A great spot to sit down, enjoy the sunset, and take in the view. There are plenty of benches and even a place for Christmas decorations and tables. Parking is available, and there are trash bins too. A really nice place I recommend it!"

"🏕️ Honest Review: Family Campout with Balkan Baptist Church – Novi Sad Serbia
We just returned from a wonderful church family campout in the mountains — a peaceful and refreshing weekend full of great fellowship and time in nature.
🌳 Campground Overview
This campground is easily accessible, and from what we understand, you’re generally allowed to:
-Pitch a tent near any picnic table
-Have a campfire in those areas as well
It may vary slightly depending on who you ask, but that’s the typical experience. Always be respectful, and check if anything has changed locally.
🚶♂️ Trails & Tips
The hiking trails nearby are stunning and frequently used by locals. Here’s a great route:
-Park at the bottom of the mountain
-Hike your way up to the park headquarters
-From there, you can usually catch a bus back down
This round trip typically takes 5–6 hours, depending on your pace. It’s a great way to enjoy the mountain without overexerting yourself on the return.
👨👩👧👦 Great for Families
We always bring our children, and we’ve never encountered anything dangerous — aside from nettles, which our kids definitely don’t enjoy!
-Mosquitoes aren’t too bad, and
-A lovely breeze at the top of the mountain keeps things cool and enjoyable.
💬 Notes for Foreigners
If you’re visiting from abroad, keep in mind:
-Upkeep (like mowing and trash collection) may not match what you’re used to — but remember, this is a free and peaceful country, and the people are kind.
-On summer Saturdays, you may encounter officials collecting a small entry toll.
-But if you visit on a Thursday or Friday, entrance is usually free.
♻️ A Small Request
Unfortunately, we’ve noticed trash building up in the woods near the camping areas. That’s why next time, we hope to organize a cleanup effort through Balkan Baptist Church and our Light of Life NGO.
If you visit, consider bringing a few extra trash bags and spending 15–30 minutes picking up litter. It’s a small act that blesses the country and honors the generous people of Serbia.
🙏 We’re thankful to the Lord for this beautiful country and the kindhearted people who allow us to gather, worship, and enjoy His creation.
Let’s be a blessing in return."

"I mostly ride MTB at Fruška. There are a lot of hidden MTB trails around. The only problem is to get from Fruška from Novi Sad cause of poor road planning. Also despite prohibition people on motorcycles are riding Fruška and police do nothing about it. But overall it's a great place."
