What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the unique nocturnal experience and the opportunity to see animals active at night. The tram ride and walking trails offer distinct ways to explore. However, some find that many animals are not visible or are too quick to spot, and the 'Creatures of the Night' show can be crowded.
"I went with a tour to the night zoo, but you dont have to take one. The zoos are split into 4 different categories Night, Day, river and birds of paradise.
The night zoo was a fantastic experience, with a tram ride.
Then after with an animal show. Very informative and fun for all ages.
Though not many options for vegetarians and not many for vegans."
Emma Roberts
"The trail experience was truly an unforgettable experience! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making sure us had a safe and enjoyable time. Since we came in weekday, there were not much people in the zoo. Overall, this experience exceeded my expectations."
Lucas Su (Kabuda)
"Definitely book this experience. You MUST do all the walking trails and I recommend ending on the tram. There are things you don’t see on the trails that you only see in the tram. The show at the amphitheater is ok, I would skip it unless you have kids and just go straight to the trails.
Wear good walking shoes and put on mosquito spray/insect repellent. The Mandai app is very helpful in navigating the trails as you can get turned around at night.
No flash photography is allowed as it disturbs the animals, tho some people did not respect this rule."
