What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Jánska dolina for its stunning natural beauty, making it a favorite for regular visits. The valley is ideal for a variety of outdoor activities, from leisurely walks to challenging bike rides. However, some note a significant increase in prices in recent years.
"A beautiful place that we visit regularly. At the beginning of the valley there are many tents, accommodation facilities. The visit to Minislovakia, which was recently renovated in the spring of 2024, was truly exceptional. The Liptovsky Dvor offers fabulous accommodation and gastronomy, however, in the last 2 years, inflation has been very pronounced here. You continue along the asphalt road through the valley and the possibility of visiting the Stanisovská Cave, where the entrance for motor vehicles ends. Further along the valley for about 4 km, an asphalt road leads along the stream and then, if you are visiting by bike, I recommend climbing to Svidovské sedlo with magnificent views of the Low Tatras ridge. Then, down in the valley, do not miss the biggest attraction, which is the bathtub. Swimming is possible all year round."

"A nice valley suitable for a leisurely walk. The downside is that there are cars here."
