Me and my dad are thinking about coming to Slovenia to ski in December, and will the snow be any good? We are used to the French alps, but would like to try a new country for adventure. Skiing doesn’t have to be world class just decent. Also, how long would you say is a good…

Reviews Summary

Kranjska Gora Ski Resort is highly praised for its affordability, making it an excellent choice for families and beginner skiers. Visitors appreciate the well-groomed slopes, guaranteed snow, and the charming village atmosphere. While advanced skiers might find the terrain limited, the resort offers a fantastic value and a welcoming environment for a memorable winter getaway.

"Great town with nice views. Fun to hang out by the river with family. If you're into hard hiking, I recommend the 20a trail to Ciprnik!"

"We couldn't have hoped for any better ski resort to have our first family ski experience. I believe this ski resort is in particular best for beginners mainly as those looking for intermediate and advanced slopes will have limited choice. We have chosen this ski resort to start learning to ski as family due to (1) being affordable (2) having good ski schools with good english speaking instructors (3) having good beginner slopes (4) having snow artificial guarantee (5) very nice Alpine mountain views and village. The ski resort has met and exceeded our expectations and we have all learn a big deal and we finally also did ski the most demanding beginner slopes! It was an unforgettable experience!

The only negative thing maybe is that I would probably avoid visiting on Saturdays if you have the option as it can get busy in the morning with several ski school kids attending their lesson. The nursery area is not extremely large and can get too busy (if you are still practicing your first learnings) or alternatively the lifts get too busy!"

"Skiing at Kranjska Gora was a sheer delight! The slopes are impeccably groomed, offering a perfect blend of challenges for skiers of all levels. The breathtaking alpine scenery provides a stunning backdrop to the thrilling descents. The ski infrastructure is top-notch, with efficient lifts and helpful staff ensuring a smooth experience. After hitting the slopes, the charming village nearby offers a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. Whether you're an avid skier or just looking for a picturesque winter getaway, Kranjska Gora Ski Resort promises an unforgettable blend of adventure and beauty."
