What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Strunjan Landscape Park for its stunning natural beauty, particularly the dramatic cliffs and the serene Moon Bay. The historic salt pans are highlighted as a unique ecological and cultural site. However, some find the park's signage confusing and access to certain areas challenging for those with mobility issues.
"Small free museum in saltworks house.👍 Infront of it there is a drinking pipe with sun clock that is very convenient to use in hot summer days.
You get good impression about saltworks and good view over the salt pools, flora and fauna in this environment.
The path leading to house is unpaved so it is a bit hard to get here if someone comes with baby carriage or wheelchair.
They have here free public toilets."
Gaber Zidar
"The video and signage is very good at the visitor centre but as a visitor this place is confusing. From the bus stop there is no indication of a shuttle bus or which direction to walk to the visitor centre. The site is very exposed on a hot day. There are toilets. There is nowhere to buy the salt, there was no salt making activity to watch. We did see some unusual birds and a lizard. The beach and cafes nearby are very nice."
Naomi Andersson
"It's lovely, but only for fit and able people. Going down to the beach and back up is not easy. The beach itself isn't something special."
