"Six of us ladies stayed in Silver Pagoda for the weekend. The Friday evening we braaid, Saturday the rain came down, but luckily only after we had been for a walk that dished up incredible vista of the mountains, fynbos and river. The linen is high quality, the beds comfy, and even the compost toilet works fantastically! Showering was a bit of an issue as the hot water ran out after a few minutes. We had three water leaks with the heavy rain, but the staff did tell us that the cabins are scheduled for renovation in January 2026. I will definitely go back. It was a wonderful weekend. Oh, just a heads up, there is NO signal there, so prepare for a tech detox!"

"Stunning accomodation and views. Just be aware toilets are 'eco" long drop toilets with no water but you use ash. No reception or signal of any kind which is good if you want to connect more with nature."
