Keurboom Park is a highly appreciated urban green space, lauded for its relaxing atmosphere, mature trees, and suitability for dog walking and family outings. Visitors enjoy the clean facilities and the sense of community. Some caution is advised, as with any public park, but overall it's seen as a well-maintained and beautiful spot.
"Enjoyable, relaxing park with enough space for everyone. Love the big and tall trees. Reasonably well kept and appears to be free of vagrants. But caution is always advised. The public toilets were clean and water was available outside for drinking from a fountain."
Chesney Bradshaw
"I’ve been going to Keurboom park for 24 years, since my son was born. I love it! Even though I’m not a dog owner (my kitties wouldn’t appreciate it 😜), I sometimes take my friend’s Labrador. There are loads of people at any given time so safe and it is well-maintained. Venture a bit further along the path to the Rondebosch Boys’ School fields and you’ll have the best mountain view. Oh, and don’t forget to grab a coffee from the little coffee van. Whether solo or in a group, doggy or not, you’ll relish the beauty of this urban oasis."
Lauren Smith
"Lovely place to bring your dogs and kids or enjoy a walk around - especially if you can spot chameleons in the trees! There are also owls living in the tall trees, if you listen carefully enough you might hear them. There’s a play area too."
