"Truly majestic forest with huge beautiful trees.
We’ve really enjoyed walking there, it’s very peaceful and the air there is so fresh💚 but sometimes the sounds of cars slightly disturb the harmony.
Be careful if you wish to hike, there are a lot of dry snags and branches lying on the ground, they can easily tear bare skin 🩸, I was unfortunate enough to get hurt."

"Newlands Forest is one of my favourite escapes in Cape Town, and I visit regularly for a dose of fresh air and tranquillity. Tucked on the slopes of Table Mountain, it offers a peaceful retreat with towering trees, shaded trails and the calming sound of running streams. Whether you’re going for a short walk or a longer hike, it is a truly blissful spot to reconnect with nature.
A word of advice: the weather can change quickly up here, so make sure to wear appropriate clothing and bring a light rain jacket just in case. Layers are your friend!"
