"An Unforgettable Experience at Mariner’s Wharf!
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm, atmosphere, and views. Set right on the water, Mariner’s Wharf captures the true spirit of Hout Bay — fresh sea air, friendly service, and the most incredible seafood.
The oysters were perfectly fresh, the calamari tender, and the fish grilled to perfection. Every dish tasted like it came straight off the boat. The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly proud of what they do — making us feel welcome from start to finish.
Whether you’re here for a relaxed lunch, sunset drinks, or a romantic dinner, Mariner’s Wharf is simply unbeatable. A Cape Town gem that everyone should experience at least once. We’ll definitely be back soon!"

"If you are doing the blue line on the city tour bus, be sure to stop by this restaurant for seafood. Location is right by the beach. Restaurant is set up on a boat like structure so that was quite interesting.
We had the sea food platter and shared it between 3 of us with a side of chips and salad. It was very filling. When ordering the platter I would say skip on the lobster, it doubles the price but the lobsters were small and cumbersome to eat. Didn’t enjoy them much. The rest of what was on the plate was very delicious . I even dare say their calamari is the best I’ve ever had.
The service was very good and fast. We had an hour to order, eat and catch the last bus and we made it!"
