What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
While some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the local attitude and found certain tourist spots unremarkable, the overall sentiment leans towards appreciating Durban's unique cultural fusion, particularly its vibrant street food scene and historical landmarks. The city offers a rich tapestry of experiences for those willing to explore beyond initial impressions.
"We are so so glad that we are leaving this province and it's people! Have lived here for over 5 years, and frankly you could not Pay me enough to stay here. People are arrogant, think the world of themselves and the are lazy. The tourist type spot is nothing remarkable and nothing you cannot see or experience anywhere else. Drakensberg roads have had deterioration so bad that is not worth going. We bid this province an extremely happy farewell. We leave no happy and fond moments behind"
