"Safe wooden walkways through the forest . The dank smell of the undergrowth, Knysna louries flitting through the trees, little streams , emerald green ferns and tall ancient trees reaching for the sun make for a very memorable walk ."

"See alot of tourists complain about the price for such a short walk but we paid SA citizen prices so not too bad if you just want to take a nice short stroll (20-30 mins/1km) and spot an array of fungi, birds, spiders or the vary scarce/shy animals.
The board walk can be fairly slippery as it is quite dense in the forest and the sun doesn't reach the ground in most places. My daughter and I had lots of fun spotting all the different fungi and spiders along the way even though we can't identify most it's always fun for the inquisitive mind of a nature lover.
Unfortunately we didn't get to see many animals or birds we could hear some foreign sounds from the high and densely packed forest-guess with such a huge forest they stay clear of areas close to humans."

"Nestled just off the N2 before Harkerville, a picturesque forest walk unfolds along a charming wooden pathway, offering a glimpse into the beauty of indigenous trees—Real and Outeniqua Yellowwood, White Pear, Witch Hazel, and more—alongside towering tree ferns. Scattered fallen logs host wild forest mushrooms, while gentle streams weave through the vibrant greenery. Bring along a picnic and unwind at rustic wooden tables and chairs beneath the peaceful forest canopy, fully embracing nature’s tranquility."
