"Another starting point to the Limietberg Hiking Trail is before the entrance to the Hugenot tunnel incoming. Entrance gates are locked and so you will have to familiarize yourself with it's operating hour's. Be wary of the roaming baboons."
Selwyn Williams
"It's a nice 12km walk out and back. More of a walk than a hike with an alevation gain of about 300m. Trail is rocky, no shade at all. A little bit bushy towards the pool. The trail is absolutely stunning and so is the pass."
slondile ndebele
"On Tuesday 14 Nov 2023 we entered the Limietberg Nature Reserve at Tweede Tol in the Bainskloof Pass to do the Waterfall hike. The Staff was super friendly and helpful. The bathroom facilities were spotless. The trail was an absolute joy to hike and the reserve is just so beautiful. We loved swimming in the pools at the various waterfalls and could have stayed the whole day! What an absolute fantastic reserve and awesome Staff!"
