"We woke. up early (in actual fact we didn’t sleep much. The campsite was located next to a shebeen). Packed the skottle, strong coffee, rusks and all the makings of an ideal slap up breakfast. Then drove up to Fish Eagle Picnic site. Close to sunrise, the better. Then looked up, sipped the coffee. Noticed the light and clouds reflected on the lake, Skies were large. Grass was golden. Could be a portrait. But was just another day in Pilansberg.."
