"When you are in the Wilderness area or passing by to Knysna or PE then visit Kleinkrantz Beach. It is a beautiful secluded area hidden away behind a hill or cliff. Choose the day carefully because there are clear warning messages on the board. One is the swells and also the wind. So be careful. You will have to go down the sand dune to the seashore. Not many brave the sand in the shoe scenario some will just sit in the cars and watch the waters. Back up will take some fitness so just know that you will have to use some energy to go back up. We did opt for the dunes so a safer option would be the stairs. It is beautiful though and you really have to go see it."

"A beautiful, stretched-out beach which is also dog friendly and have scattered fishermen everywhere. Here you can walk for miles while enjoying nature: birds, dolphins and even spot a whale or two in season. Paragliders flying past provides more scenery and here you can even go for tandem paragliding - gliding op and down the coast line. It is always sad seeing some litter on the beach and bins are few and far between. The sea is also rough and have lots of currents with no lifeguards on site, so swimming is not recommended."

"Very relaxing, popular with fishermen. Never crowded, out of season you can have entire beach to yourself. Quite often dolphins can be seen from the shore. The beach hiking trail stretches almost all the way to Sedgefield on one side and to Wilderness on the other (Touws River or past it if the mouth is closed)."
