"Songnisan National Park is wonderful. The hiking here isn't the best you'll find in a national park in Korea, nor is the natural beauty (although both are still quite good). What makes this park worth visiting is the combination of the natural beauty/hiking and the history. Beopjusa Temple is almost without parallel in all of Korea, and combining that with the beauty of the various mountain peaks makes it a very worthwhile destination. Although there were other national parks I enjoyed more, I'd still wholeheartedly recommend visiting here"
