"Free admission & modern well organized museum. Must visit if you’re into history & culture etc, I walked around & easily spent about 2 hours reading around the ancient text on display.
The immerse experience at B1 is nice, like Japan’s teamLab Planets light show, with Jeju culture & scenery. Better check the time schedule online to see the full version, about 20-30 mins long.
The special exhibition during the summer 2025 is the butterfly theme, named after the local famous scientist 石宙明, a great mind survived the harsh Japanese colonial period but sadly died in the hand of his own people later.
Well done exhibition & highly recommend."

"Nice museum in an easy access location. Should climb a bit up to the sarabong and watch sunset. Was a nice tour and can’t miss the beautiful huge orange trees by the entrance."

"We were visited this Museum on a Thursday, and free entrance was, which was a pleasant surprise. Inside there was several interesting things about the life of Jeju. Mostly in Korean language but we can translate it with Google. There is also a small exhibition hall outside where nice ladies friendly invited us to see their silk artwork. One of them explained in English what we see, and they were really nice to us. Which I want to hereby also thank them. 🫰"
