Someone built a road from Palmdale to Barstow and no one remembers who, when, or why. It doesn't appear in complete form on any map. We take a deep dive into the Palmdale-Barstow "mystery road" and the history of roads through Lancaster and the ruins at "Houze Place". Do you have the answer?

"Took us a few rounds to test out the mysterious road phenomenon. There are signs on both sides of the road saying the Mysterious road starts here. It is not a very long stretch and one could try out this optic illusion using a bottled water or turning off the engine of the car at neutral gear to see the car/bottle going upwards on the uphill slope. Pretty cool.
