Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Jeju World Natural Heritage Center for its informative exhibits on the island's volcanic origins and the well-organized heritage walking tours. The replica cave and surround displays are highlights. However, a significant drawback for international visitors is the language barrier, as most content and tours are in Korean, limiting comprehension for non-Korean speakers.

"There was 2024 World Heritage festival going on. We joined the heritage walking tour. It was well organized. Though the staffs spoke little English but they were very very helpful . My friend lost a water bottle along the way. The staffs took the trouble to go back to retrieve it for us. We really appreciate they dedication and helpfulness."

"My fiancé and I had a great time visiting the Jeju world natural heritage centre and walking the trails. You first must book a reservation before going (you won’t receive a confirmation email, just a confirmation on the webpage). Once you arrive there is a check in space where you pay and get your ticket. You then go to sign up for the tour, I assume, we weren’t fully sure since none of the staff spoke English. Our time slot was at 9 am. Inside the natural heritage centre you can see exhibits, use the washroom and access wifi. We did this while we waited for the rest of the group. There were about 30 people on this tour, maybe more, people of all ages but everyone spoke Korean so we were a little left out. The tour guide was amazing, she kept a great walking/hiking pace and seemed to have a lot of knowledge (I wouldn’t know as it was entirely in Korean). My only complaint is that you must stay with the group, we thought we could maybe hike the course on our own, but it’s a large group and you can get caught behind some slow walkers. Also there is a decent amount of talking, so the 2 hour section we did about half hour of it I’d say was explanations and stopping to talk.
The trail itself is beautifully laid out, lots of steps/stairs and then carpeted trail and lovely look out points!"
