Jeju is just great. Quiet vibe, great nature and cozy places.

I have 6 days for my Jeju trip and I thought that was a mistake - my first Korea trip, 7 days for Seoul and 6 for Jeju, thought that’d be too much for the island. This is all from south and west side, heading east today! Well, 6 days is not enough for me. I would stay for much…

Skip East Jeju?

I’m going to Jeju Island with my mom next month. We are staying in Seogwipo for 4 nights, which means 3 full days of exploration. Most 3-day itinerary I’ve found online split it into South, East, West (1 day in each area). For the East side, the Manjanggul Lava Tube is…

"A great place to visit and walk if you are a nature lover. Atmosphere is very peaceful. The entire course is around 2-3 km and the terrain is flat so it is good to spend 1-2 hrs here and soak in the greenery. Cost was 3000 won per adult."

"Roughly translated as Nutmeg Tree Forest, Bijarim let us have a refreshing walk, surrounded by trees of 500-800 years. I enjoyed the serenity, unique kinds of bird chirping, and the smell of Bijarim only nature can provide. We also saw a tree that was planted in 12th century, and it was unbelievable to see how the tree can endure such a time. It is also an easy walk, as there is no uphill and no scorching sun directly at your face. Lastly, I appreciated the plant/tree information descriptions in Korean but wish there were one in English for other visitors."

"Nice little forest path if you pass by. Very easy trail for all ages. You can find a variety of old torreya trees on a charming walk.

I would only go if I'm near the area."
