The opportunity to find one-of-a-kind pieces and practice bargaining adds to the charm. However, some find the quality can vary, and navigating larger purchases requires planning.
"Old furniture, chairs, carpets, decoration , chinaware and many others, whole street covered with small bigs and small stores, expensive and less expensive. Just enjoy if you love it. Next to get off on Itaewon metro station"
Soko 37 (Soko37)
"The Antique Furniture Street starts as soon as you take exit no 4 at Itaewon subway station. I had some work at Mondrian Hotel so I walked past these shops and the vibe was more vintage-y than antique. However, some of the pieces were absolutely gorgeous.
On my way back from the Mondrian, I got a little adventurous and visited the bylanes tucked behind the antique shops. Some had beautiful murals and I actually took a narrow, winding, uphill path through the houses from around here to reach the exit 1 area of the Itaewon subway.
I don't know how feasible it is to buy things or even gift things from here but there is definitely a charm that you cannot escape. If you're looking for a stroll after a wholesome meal on a pleasant day, you can roam around here!"
