"11/6/25
Day trip from Jeonju. Took an intercity bus from Jeonju to Jeongeup bus terminal, about an hour journey. Then boarded the local bus no.171 at the CU in front of Jeongeup bus terminal, roughly 30 minutes to the Naejangsan entrance.
Easily the peak of autumn foliage. Highly encourage to visit this week. Magnificent. It was a big crowd however everything was in order. I couldn't imagine visiting during the weekends. There is a shuttle bus from the naejangsan entrance to naejangsa, krw1000 per adult, I would suggest if health permitted, take a stroll into naejangsa and then take the bus upon leaving.
Enjoy the autumn leaves guys! Safe trip!

"Beautiful national mark with lots of trails to hike. Some parts are steep and some places need clambering over rocks. All hikes - as everywhere in South Korea - all clearly signed. You cannot get lost or lose track. Detailed maps are available on spot."

"took the cable car ride and hiked down. The hike brings you to the temple and finally to the cable car area, then visit the blue roof pavilion. The shuttle bus that brings you to the cable car station is only W1000 and saves you lots of time.
The observatory on top of the cable car station os beautiful."
