What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Suseong Artpia is appreciated for its comfortable seating and good sound quality in the Grand Hall, hosting a variety of performances and exhibitions. Its convenient location near Suseong Pond is a major plus. However, the limited food options and the main hall's size are noted drawbacks.
"Suseong Artpia was opened in 2007 and recently completed renovation. They have 1,159 seats for GRAND HALL. Pretty small? I couldn’t find any acoustic magic. I mean, the reverberation time what makes the orchestra performances so epic. I think it is a multi-purpose hall.
I enjoyed Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, Romeo and Juliet, dated October 8, 2023. The seat was very comfortable. I was satisfied.
The box office is on the 1st floor (for UK, ground floor). Near the box office, you can buy coffee. I could not see any restaurants in Suseong Artpia. So, you'd better have some food prior to visiting. In front of the coffee shop there is a cloakroom.
For your information, the underground parking lot was spacious and easy to park. It was free. Enjoy."

"The main hall isn't as large or grand as other theaters perhaps. But it has most of the modern necessities to put on a wonderful concert, play or ballet. The seats are reasonably comfortable and the sound quality is good. There are secondary smaller halls as well as classrooms and exhibit spaces. The concessions is a bit small and limited. There is a larger underground parking area but it fills up quickly. Arrive early or take a bus. It's also just a short walk from the line three train and Suseong pond."
