Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Parque del Centenario Fuerte de San García for its absolutely stunning views of Gibraltar and its rich historical context, offering a peaceful escape. However, many note that the park is in a state of disrepair, with issues like litter and graffiti, and can be extremely hot, requiring visitors to come prepared.

"Very stunning views, SUPER HOT THOUGH! Go with water especially if you have dogs! In some spots at the bunkers you can reach the beach and get some refreshing! There are also panels explaining the history and the natural formations"

Francesca Pezzetti

"A really peaceful and beautiful park with an amazing view of Gibraltar and the surrounding mountains. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy nature, and reflect on the deep history of the area, this is where the Arab Muslims first arrived in 711, marking the beginning of Al-Andalus.

However, the walk up to the park can be a bit annoying, there’s unfortunately quite a lot of dog poop on the path, which really takes away from the experience. Also, there’s too much graffiti around, which is sad to see in such a scenic and historic place. Still, once you’re at the top, the view and the quiet make it worth it. Just wish the area was better maintained."

Mazen Choumari

"Beautiful park with an awesome view. Sadly getting on top of the tower requires some basic climbing skills, because the door does not work due to being welded shut. Aside from this minor deficiency, it is a very beautiful place and worth a stroll."
