What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the knowledgeable and friendly guides who make the historical journey engaging. The hands-on experimental archaeology workshops, including tool-making and fire-starting, are a major highlight, offering a unique immersive experience. While the primary language is Spanish, guides often accommodate English speakers. Some note that the excavation site viewing points are distant and the COVID-19 measures could be improved.
"Very nice visit, both our guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. It is very interesting to learn about how tools, paintings and fires were made in the stone age. Visit to the excavation was also great, I will repeat."

"Place is awesome but best if you brush up on your Spanish!"

"Our guide, Alba, managed to immerse us all in a wonderful journey starting 1,5 million years ago. The visit is organised in two parts: the first, in the Carex facilities, where we could practice making tools, throwing spears, how to make fire... And the second, the visit to the archeological site. We were taken there by bus, and Alba explained everything perfectly. The whole visit is nearly 4 hours long. A lot of time, but every minute is worth the effort."
