What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the 'real' 4x4 adventure and the absolutely breathtaking views from the high Pyrenees, especially the impressive waterfalls fed by glacial snowmelt. The guided tours are highly praised for their informative and humorous guides, offering great insight into the region's geology and fauna. It's considered a prime spot for outdoor activities and a fantastic starting point for hikes into the Ordesa Valley.
"Great 'real' 4x4 trip from Ainsa up into the mountains to the top of the Cinca valley, well above the tree line and tarmac. From the refuge at the highest point of the trip we were looking across at melting glacial snow feeding multiple large waterfalls that feed that river. Guide Lauda is a chatty humorous guide and she provided a very good insight into the geology and fauna found in the high Pyrenese. The Spanish side of Pyrenees is outstanding with lots of intertwined deep river valleys with deep gorges. This region is a real outdoor activities mega zone. Not many Brits seem to have discovered the area. Maybe because not much promotion is done in English?"
