Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Cala Murta's stunning natural beauty, crystal-clear waters, and unique wildlife encounters. The easy hike and panoramic views are also highly praised. However, strict car access rules and the persistent wildlife's interest in food are common points of caution.

"Absolutely beautiful little beach and totally worth visiting, but if you want to actually make it there and not pay a 200 euro fine read this review Very carefully lol…

You can drive and park near the trailhead UNTIL 10am, if your car is found in the lot anytime after that you’ll be fined 200 euros, so this is Not the best option and I highly recommend against it…

The Best option…arrive at Cala Formentor at 9:30am, park in the big free lot there and wait for the bus that stops right outside the parking lot…the bus costs 3 euros each way, get off at the first stop, the trailhead will be a few feet away well marked on the right side…hike takes about 20 minutes and is easy, although I recommend running shoes or at least water shoes and not flip flops…

When you arrive at the beach, ZIP UP ALL FOOD!! I can’t stress this enough, the goats are very cute but they will RUN UP AND STEAL YOUR FOOD, I literally saw this happen during my visit…

I went on a Saturday in mid-September and it wasn’t crowded at all which was great, overall I’d really recommend visiting this beautiful beach"

"Amazing beach in Mallorca. You can take the bus to get there as access was blocked for cars. Then there’s a 15-20min easy trail to get to the spot. We went in September in an afternoon and it was very quiet. The goats are chill and they will come to you if you have food :)"

"Beautiful hidden spot to swim! You will find goats and donkeys and they might be a bit persistent with your food! Despite that, it is totally worth it!"
