What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
This beachfront resort offers a budget-friendly all-inclusive experience with direct access to a beautiful sandy beach and the unique Corralejo Dunes. While the facilities are dated and Wi-Fi is limited, guests often praise the friendly staff, tasty food, and stunning natural location. It's a solid choice for a relaxed, value-driven holiday, though longer stays might highlight the repetitive nature of the buffet.
"A nice getaway location. Our group of 6 had fun and the beachfront was amazing. A variety of activities ensured that the time was enjoyed by all. However having been to other Riu hotels, this one was not as great and on the lower rank. Since the price was lower than the others be prepared that it shows in the facility. The facility is dated and could do with some investments to renovate. The food choices is wide but since we stayed for 7 nights it became repetitive. The food at the themed restaurants was great but we only got to book x2 times because the bookings run out very quickly. Please note that if you need wifi, this can only be accessed in the reception/grounds area and not in the rooms as the hotel is located on a natural reservation. Despite this we really enjoyed our time and the rooms were very spacious with balconies/ terraces to sit on."

"Hotel a bit outdated, needs some TLC, yet kept in nice and tidy condition. Haven’t met any of unexpected guests as others claimed.
Location itself is just perfect. On the outskirts of Corralejo, 10 mins by taxi (€8 one way) but by the lovely beach at your doorstep. Excellent spot for a long walks where you can enjoy dunes, or just yourself if you wish to.
Food wise, repetitive but tasty and freshly made on the spot- fried eggs, pancakes, pizzas, burgers and so on.
Drinks…..cocktails made from automated machines but also very tasty. If you want to get pissed just buy yourself a bottle of vodka 😉 these drinks are for refreshments not to get drunk.
In general, I recommend by my all heart to stay here for your well deserved holiday."

"The staff are tremendous. Language ain't a problem. Old style communication works. Very friendly staff....from morning till night.
For a 3 star hotel food is closer to 4 stars. Expect mould in every bathroom. We had family of 12. 5 bedrooms. 3 had mould and cockroaches continuosly.
First 3 days at poolside the smell from sewage tanks was pungent but with swirling winds it came and went. On forth day I went up to reception. "No we never had a complaint". Took a "clerk" poolside and he was dismissive. I proceeded to ask 4 groups around us while he was there and they all confirmed it's an issue. If I could post a photo of the smell I would. This place is good value all inclusive if it weren't for the horrible disgusting pungent sewage smell around the pool area. Love to all."
