Some note it's a smaller site, best enjoyed with an hour to spare.

"Very informative and well-planed museum, featuring ancient Phoenician city. The staff can speak English pretty well and answer your questions kindly. The tour starts with a eye-catching video and explains the history of the city and then you can start visiting the museum, the information panels are detailed, although the museum isn’t big you could still spend an hour inside because the tour is very well-planed, overall it’s a very good experience. And it’s FREE of charge!"

"This is a small but very interesting archeological site. It is well set out and the information is in English as well as other languages. You will get to see the skeleton of a poor soul who broke his leg trying, and sadly failing, to escape a fire. I think his remains are where he fell.
There's a short film to set the scene and this helps you understand the visit.
I only met one m member of staff who was very friendl and helpful.
Amazingly this is all free. You need to book ahead which you can do on site. If not too busy you could be in on the next hour.
This is a great way to spend an hour or so and with the wonderful market just around the corner, combined this is a great way to spend an afternoon."
