What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Monte Igueldo Amusement Park's unique old-school charm, breathtaking views, and affordable prices. While some find the rides to be more about nostalgia than thrills, the overall experience is highly recommended for its vintage atmosphere and stunning coastal panoramas. A minor drawback mentioned is the restroom fee, but it doesn't detract significantly from the overwhelmingly positive sentiment.
"YES YES YES... this is a fantastic place to be, and an awesome experience. The prices are all very very reasonable, with a 2-way trip on the funicular for only 4.75€, and all the rides are pay-per-ride, ranging only from 2.30€ onwards. The roller coaster was only 3€.
The view... PRICELESS. so YES...
PLEASE come, even if you come alone, it is fun too!
Weekend, long queues, but it keeps moving, so just a little patience is ok."

"My family LOVED this place! Old school charm and tons of fun. Not ridiculously expensive either. Highly recommend the roller coaster and the boats. Heck, it’s all fun. And what views! Some of the best ever.
My only criticism is charging half a Euro to go to the restroom. Really? Evidently that’s done in some places in the EU but wow what a scam. Even little towns in the Basque Country like Lekeitio manage to have free restrooms.
I still give it five stars because I sincerely hope this place will be there for future generations."

"We visited on a Wednesday in mid-August, arriving around 11 a.m. There was already a line at the entrance, but it moved quickly. Entry to the park costs €2.50 per person, with separate fees for each attraction.
Parking was straightforward, and the park has roughly ten attractions in total. We chose the boat ride, which cost an additional €2.30 per person for about a 90-second experience. It opened at 11:15 a.m., and we waited at least 30 minutes in line. The wait was worth it—offering stunning views over San Sebastián."
