What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about La Mola's challenging hikes and spectacular, far-reaching views, comparing them favorably to trails in the Pacific Northwest. The summit offers breathtaking panoramas, and the historic monastery adds a unique charm. However, some find the restaurant prices at the top to be quite steep.
"What a hike!!!
I hike a lot in my home in the pacific northwest (Portland, OR) and have been spoiled with incredible waterfalls and mountain trails. This one can compete for sure in both level of great views, spectacular rock formations and the cardio you do from the steepness and challenges. If you like this one a bit more moderate, then take the eastern route ascent. I pick the western first and it was very challenging. Many times no visible trail and I had to go by Gaia and fight my way through thick bushes and rocky ascents. You are rewarded though by looking westward to Montserrat all the time and to the Mediterranean. From top on clear days you can see the Balearian island - Mallorca."

"Loved it, highest and most beautiful view all around. On a clear day you can see the French Alps and the Pyrenees Mountains 😵💫"
