Visitors consistently praise the Museo de Arte Sacro Adeje for its exceptional value and deeply personal guided tours. The museum's collection of religious art, vestments, and artifacts is impressive, and the guides are lauded for their knowledge and passion. While a short wait is common, the intimate experience and the low entry fee make it a highly recommended 'hidden gem' for those seeking cultural enrichment.
"Located to the right of the sanctuary, inside the priest’s preparation room, you will find this gem of a museum. For only 4€ a person, we were given a private tour of the church’s collection of religious art, liturgical vestments, objects, and santos. Natalia, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. It was apparent that Natalia loved to discuss the history and culture of the church and its significance to the surrounding community. Shown one room after the other, we felt as if we were getting a behind-the-scenes tour of the secluded rooms of the church. We learned so much on this tour, it left us in awe of the history of La Orotava. If there’s one thing you should do while visiting La Orotava, it’s this."

""I have never been so impressed by a museum with all the art treasures the church has preserved. Chasubles, monstrances, the throne, all the sculptures – too much to mention. The curator guided me and shared a lot about life and Christian traditions in Orotava. I would highly recommend everyone to take the tour.""

"It´s a unique exhibition, which you should not miss. It´s confusing to find it: right hand side of the altar, there is a hidden door in the wall and a sign, which tells you to wait. BE PATIENT! Within the opening hours, someone is really inside, and you will get a really personal guide, taking much time only for you. We had to wait around 30 min., but didn´t regret any minute of waiting. Enjoy one of the gems of Tenerife!"
