Reviews Summary
Lake Anna is widely praised as a magical and tranquil place, offering a pleasant atmosphere even when busy. Visitors love the clear lake waters, family-friendly amenities like play areas and a unique swimming pool, and the natural beauty. Some note that parking fees and trail access charges have been introduced, but overall, it's considered a great value for a day out.
"An incredibly magical place with a very pleasant atmosphere. There are usually many people, but the lake’s clear water absorbs the excess noise and gives a sense of complete tranquility. In the summer season, there are people standing at the parking areas charging for parking. There is a trail from the lake to the three waterfalls, but it’s better to drive there by car (they’ve also put up a small booth at the entrance to the Three Waterfalls trail and started charging money — this wasn’t the case a year ago). Near the lake, there is also a very lovely maze made of trees where you can wander around with a child and find painted stones."

"This is such a fun place to come. You can bring your kids and your dog. There is a swimming pool fed by waterfalls. We had lunch next to the lake and it was really good and not expensive. Perhaps it’s best to come out of season or during the weekducks on the pond lots of shady trees. I recommend this place for a day out."
