"This fountain dates from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It flows from the Bellús Canal, which is treated with potable water. The water from the fountain flows to the wash house and from there to the irrigation ditches.
Currently, there are six ornamental drinking water fountains in operation in Xàtiva.
