What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Las Burras Beach is praised for its calm, shallow waters and smooth, dark golden sand, making it ideal for families and relaxed swimming. Visitors appreciate the lively promenade with dining options, especially the popular Mao Mao Beach restaurant for sunset views. However, some note the lack of lifeguards and the potential for overcrowding on weekends.
"We found this beach had a nice feel to it, and the kids decided this was where we were going to build sandcastles! The area is much shorter in length than some of the neighbouring beaches, but much deeper / wider. We walked up the adjoining coastal path a little to view the crabs climbing over the rocks!"

"Love to visit the beach during the day on weekdays as it's not over crowded like weekends.
Dark golden sandy beach and so smooth to walk. The area itself isn't big but there are beaches along the coast. The long promenade leads you way to the dunes.
There would be some staff cleaning the beach which is nice but people shall be aware of litters and shall behave properly as grow up adults.
Avoid weekends is only my recommendation, too over crowded and wouldn't be able to find spot for yourself."
Daisy S
"Nice beach with sun-beds, very large and pretty long but is not supervised (no lifeguards, at least during the time I was there). There is also a small kiosk nearby which is selling snacks and ice cream."
