What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Amadores Beach is widely praised as one of Gran Canaria's most beautiful beaches, lauded for its imported golden sand, calm turquoise waters, and excellent facilities. Visitors appreciate its family-friendly atmosphere and the scenic coastal walk from Puerto Rico. However, parking can be a challenge, and the rocky shoreline requires some caution when entering the water.
"Great beach! Difficult to find parking spots on the free outside parking spots. I recommend using the underground parking, even though it’s paid.
The beach itself has “different sections”. The middle of the beach has bigger rocks, making it more difficult to swim or just walk in the water. Usually, you can find a place to put down your towel, but you can also rent recliners and umbrellas. Many stores and restaurants around, with everything you could need at the beach, and okay prices."

"Stunning beach.
The sand is soft and the sea warm.
The restaurants along the beach are cheap with great service.
The best thing about this beach are the toilets. They have showers and lockers so you can keep your valuables safe."

"This man-made beach was built in 2002, with soft golden-white sand imported from the Western Sahara. Calm, crystal-clear waters protected by breakwaters—perfect for families, swimming, or relaxing. Excellent facilities: paid sunbeds, showers, toilets, shops, and restaurants right on the promenade.
🚗 Free parking available nearby (gets busy by midday).
📏 Approx. 500 m long – Blue Flag awarded.
📌 A peaceful beach with no loud music or sports. Perfect for unwinding."
