What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Santuari de Lluc offers a beautiful, tranquil escape in the Tramuntana mountains, praised for its stunning location and peaceful atmosphere. However, visitors often note the very basic and sometimes problematic accommodation, including infrequent cleaning and a lack of amenities, making it better suited for visits than extended stays.
"Great location, the mountains are beautiful and the staff are very polite. However for a 6 day visit the room wasn’t cleaned once and beware of bed bugs. Also there wasn’t a mini fridge to keep water cool during the summer heat. Food was eatable. Would recommend to visit but not to stay."

"Nothing special – an old monastery, at some point renovated, but kept in a very simple, almost spartan style. The beds are extremely basic, covered with an unpleasant plastic-like sheet. If you remove it, the sleep is actually great. Unfortunately, the room constantly had a sewage smell coming in from outside. The pool is fine, nothing more.
Breakfast at the restaurant is so monotonous that by the third day I honestly didn’t know what else to eat.
On the positive side, in the mornings you can see mountain goats coming down from the surrounding peaks, even from the room window. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning – perfect for long hikes in the mountains."

"A really beautiful place to visit - tranquil and quiet, after the busyness of coastal Mallorca. You can wander many of the areas without paying a fee, and it's lovely just to take in the atmosphere. The short walk up to the cross is well worth it, and the basilica is atmospheric and breathtaking."
