This is probably my favorite building in Madrid. It’s the Edificio Metropolis and was completed in 1911. La Union y el Fenix had a competition to see who should design their building. Jules and Raymond Fevrier were chosen and designed the building in the French Beaux-arts style. Metropolis Seguros bought the building in 1972.
